Snap them up!

We hired the Royz Band for our wedding reception entertainment and highly encourage others to do the same.

From the first e-mail communication to the end of the wedding night, the Royz Band were professional, considerate, and friendly.

Dealing with Heather was a real pleasure, she went through every particular with me in a friendly way and made sure that the programme planned was really to our tastes, as she said it was ‘our’ wedding and the Royz Band wanted to fit in, not the other way around.

This band got the guests up on the dance floor even before dinner had finished. Their energy was really contageous and the request cards they put out meant that every guest felt included in the entertainment.

The range of different music that the band can perform is truly impressive and I suggest you get them to play their rendition of ‘Love Shack’ as it had the entire reception dancing.

One other bonus from this band is that they include DJ music as well as the live band. It means that if there are any requests the band can’t play, or specific versions of songs you want from the original recording they can play it. It also means that while the band have their break (and working over 12 hours in a row they deserve it) that there isn’t an empty dance floor. DJ Bongogirl keeps the momentum going.

I couldn’t be happier with the way our wedding entertainment turned out and would encourage anyone considering the band to snap them up, they are worth it!

Dear Heather and The Royz Band,

Things have finally settled down here, it was a busy time with the wedding, honeymoon and then the big move to Montreal – but this thankyou is way past due.

There is so much involved when planning a wedding and it is people like you and your company that makes the life of a bride and groom much easier! Your service was outstanding, always professional and e-mails were responded to quickly. Honestly at times it felt like we had invested in a wedding planner!

Many family and friends have commented on how much they loved and appreciated the music and were surprised how many different types of genres could be played so well!! A couple of times that night I was pulled by someone who said, “Christine, where did you find them?” We will recommend your services, wholeheartedly, for anybody who needs music for an event!

Great choice of songs and perfect performance!

Hi Heather,

I just wanted to drop you a line and thank you and your band members for such a fine performance last Saturday at the Halton Museum. The duo outdoors made the ceremony very special and created an atmosphere of elegance and glamour.

I especially liked the sax for the cocktail hour on the patio. You found the right mix of songs during dinner and to our surprise the dance floor was even full in-between courses. At some point the music played Irish songs and the legs (including mine) were kicking. When one of our guests sang “Sweet Caroline”, the mood changed to fun and frolic. We even got into the disco mood at the end.

Our memorable evening was made even more special with your great choice of songs and perfect performance!
